Directions

Use 2 servings of Synergy-Iso-7 daily. Use 1 serving (2 level scoops) as the pre-exercise meal approximately 60-90minutes prior to workout. Use the second serving throughout the day when required or as the vital post-workout meal.

Used Cyclone for 6 months with no problems. Switched to PHD but had stomach cramps and diarrorhia. Binned it like other user on here and now switched back.

have been using Maximuscle Cyclone for the past few years, but agree with most you cant help but feel you are over paying for marketing etc. On the basis of reviews, I tried the strawberry version of synergy. The first time I was violently ill for 2 days, but blamed it on a stomach bug that was going around. Waited for 2 weeks before trying again with a quarter dosage (1 scoop)….and it completely threw me back to the bathroom. Tried again a few days later just top be sure and it was just not compatible. Strawberry is also sickly sweet.

Can’t recommend, have binned the product and will move back to Cyclone.

I used this for 6 weeks as I'd always wanted to try this brand.

I added i went from being able to squeeze out 4-5 reps of 120kg on the bench press to being able to do 10 comfortably and now i'm benching 130-140 depending on energy levels.

I'm much leaner and the definiton is clear for all to see.

I'll definatley be orderin another couple of tubs before the summer gets here.

hi there my first question is cause this product has creatine in it do u need to do a load phase? also is a seprate creatine need with this? also can u tell me anything eles that need to be taken for mass gains. also if i decided to still take my creatine which is reflex creatine mono would that good or be bad for me

It would be beneficial to purchase a seperate creatine product such as PhD Nutrition Creatine 550g or the one you have stated Reflex Creapure then load to get the maximum benefit from it. For the first 5 days take it 4 times a day (equivalent to 20g/day) every day after that take 1-2 servings (5-10g/day) for a maintenance dose. If your diet is lacking in calories then you may need a gainer so two good ones to consider are Pharma Gain by PhD and also Mutant Mass. These two would really bump up your calorie intake and muscle gains grouped with a good diet surplus in calories and a good resistance programme.

If taking 2 full servings a day an additional creatine will not be needed. Amino acids are always a good supplement to add into your diet especially pre-workout. We would recommend adding in a EEA prior to training.

Hi, I'm 17 and looking to put on muscle mass. I was just wondering if there are any potential side effects with the testosterone booster on me? I.e will it be dangerous for my system as the testosterone is generally high with someone of my age?

At 17 your testosterone is still developing to reach its natural peak. Testosterone booster won't do much for you, you're better off purchasing a protein, creatine, or a pre workout supplement which would give you much more benefit in terms of reaching you goal. PhD Synergy-ISO 7 does contain some of the their testosterone product called methoxy-7 test which we do not recommend to people under 18, although the label does not state this.

This product has no potentially dangerous test boosters and is fine for your age. If you don't see consistent gains at any point, at your age it probably means that you aren't eating enough, so add more food!

You can take it pre and post. Probably better off taking the Synergy about 1 hour before and then SuperPump about 30 min before exercise (and Synergy immediately after training).

This is a great product but it isn't made for skinny guys who have trouble gaining weight and muscle. Go for Muscle Fuel Anabolic or Mutant Mass (and add creatine if you choose this one).

When it comes to gaining mass its as simple as you need to consume more calories that you are burning in a day.

Calories promote muscle growth and extra calories are needed for this to happen.

The best route to take would be a quality mass gainer and creatine product.

You can stack Phd synergy along with any fat burning product and Grenade is amongst the best. If you aren't losing fat then you may want to switch to Pharma Whey (but you will want to add a creatine product) or Nitro-Tech or some other very low carb product.

The Anator is better for post workout because it has protein, tons of leucine and a good whack of carbs, etc. Size On is for during training and obviously SuperPump is for pre-training. So ya, P70 would be a good addition.

If you aren't gaining a present, you simply need more calories (assuming you are already using creatine and are getting enough protein). So switch to Muscle Fuel Anabolic, Mass-Tech or Mutant Mass (add a teaspoon of creatine to this last one). Keep eating as much or more food and accept the fact that you will gain some fat when you gain muscle - in most cases this is unavoidable.

Can you blend oats to this product if having it for breakfast as the carbs in synergy are low?

Yes, this will obviously boost the carb and fibre content but won't affect the benefits that the product delivers.

I am 15 (almost 160 years old but i am not sure if this would be safe for me to have because of the test boosters. Will it be ok for me or not?

Synergy doesn't actually contain any "test boosters". The 5-Methyl-7-Methoxy-Isoflavone is a natural ingredient that works like testosterone to increase muscle growth but it doesn't actually affect your hormones or boost testosterone significantly. So this product will be appropriate for you to use.

Ok for starters if you want to put on another 3 Stone (42lbs) your going to need a lot more than just synergy iso 7. Promoting substantial muscle gains usually means increasing your daily calorie intake by around an extra 1000 calories a day. You should be looking to gain 1-2 kilos a week. Any more than this and you may be storing too much fat along with your gains. Most natural body builders are VERY lucky if they gain 10lbs worth of lean muscle mass in a full year of weight training. A good mass building stack could include 2 or more of the following: PVL Mutant Mass, PVL Cre-x12, Muscle-Tech Anator p70, Phd pharma blend and Reflex Bcaa & Omega, etc. and EAT, EAT, EAT!
This should put you on the road to achieving some good quality mass.

I'm a little confused by the way they include a testo booster in iso 7 in the form of magnesium,zinc & B6 vitamin but also has calcium in there which is said to severely slow down the absorbtion of zinc thus hindering the testo booster cliam?

A.

There are certain interactions between minerals and some can inhibit the absorption of others but this effect is not substantial enough to be a concern. Iso 7 only contains 192mg (about 15% of your daily requirement) of calcium that occurs naturally in the whey protein and nutrient recommendations take account of these kinds of interactions, as most healthy foods contain most minerals in combination.

Hi, i play rugby and after weight training and also cardio/rugby training i take 2 scoops of USN Whey Protein mixed with an isotonic drink (usually Gatorade) and USN Creatine Monohydrate. I usually have 1 scoop with 200ml of gatorade 30-60 mins before workout. I then take 2 scoops of USN MF Dynamic approx 2-3 hours after workout. If you are trying for maximum recovery - both of muscle and energy repletion between training sessions/matches, then the Synergy may be a little too low in carbs. You could use Muscle Fuel anabolic, which already has the creatine (and amino acids, etc) and you wouldn't have to add carbs to it (Gatorade). If you're watching the calories a bit, then go for the PhD Recovery 2:1 - it contains the creatine, protein, moderate carbs etc).

You need something with more carbs than that - go for Anator, Muscle Fuel Anabolic or Torrent for best possible recovery.

Synergy claims that each 2 scoops has 2.6g of creatine monohydrate. Is this enough to build muscle as Cyclone contains 5g of creatine per serving? Plus it contains 17g carbohydrates, 10g of which sugars. My personal trainer says to avoid sugary products as they spike blood levels and increase insulin. Is this type of a sugar a bad type?

If you take it twice per day, it is a perfect amount of creatine (it will take you about 2 or 3 weeks to load/max your creatine storage in muscle). If you gain fat easily or if you are on a strict diet, you may be better off with a lower carb product but this is not a large amount of carbs and will help with recovery, workout energy, muscle-building and the retention of the creatine in the muscle.

i have been taking phd synergy for two weeks now after joining they gym,is taking it twice a day sufficient to gain weight and muscle mass or do i need other supplements?

A.

Synergy twice daily is great for lean gains but if you want big, fast gains or if you are a hard gainer, then you need something with more calories. Try Muscle Fuel Anabolic - it has a similar formula but just more calories and carbs for gaining.

I have been taking the ISO-7 for about 8 months now and have been taking half a scoop before and a whole scoop after, ive seen great results but a friend said i shouldn't be using creatine for prolonged periods of time. My goal is to get down to about 10% bf - I'm now on 16% and build muscle. My diet is clean and well spaced throughout the day... Is the synergy going to slow down my fat loss? Am I better off taking a normal whey protein instead?

Synergy is low-carb, low-fat and high-protein, so is perfect for a fat loss all-in-one. Also, the added creatine and BCAAs will avoid muscle loss whilst dieting. You are better off cutting extra other carbs (especially starchy ones and sugar) from your diet before the Synergy. If you are doing that much HIIT, along with weights, you probably shouldn't cut the carbs too much or you'll lose too much muscle. The rule of thumb is, aim for about 1 kilo per week of weight loss max. Any more and you probably lose muscle.

Creatine can definitely be taken long term. There is no evidence of methoxy being harmful long term but this has not been studied extensively (although thousands of people probably use it long term).

Methoxy has never been shown to have any harmful effects and PhD don\'t recommend that you take time off it.
Muscle Fuel Anabolic is best if you want maximum gains but possibly too many calories for some people or if you are trying to stay lean. As you say, Synergy is at least as good a formula as Promax Extreme and has a more sensible protein to carbohydrate ratio that is perfect for gaining lean mass without overdoing the carbs or calories for those who gain fat easily.

can the testosterone boosters in this have a negative affect on a 16 year old?

16 year olds should not use testosterone boosters. testosterone levels are already at their peak at this age. Stick to using protein or weight gainers (depending upon what body type you have, your goals and how easily you gain weight) and creatine products.

Are they known to have side effects?

The Methyl-T3- Strength Stack isn\'t an ingredient, it is the name given to the combination of the 3 ingredients including 5-Methyl-7-Methoxy-Isoflavone.

5-Methyl-7-Methoxy-Isoflavone has been arround in a few different forms for decades and has been used in sports nutrition products for at least 10 years now and hundreds of thousands of products have been sold that contain it. I don\'t know of any negative effects having ever been reported from its use. So I doubt it has any negative effects. However, in the end, it has to be your decision.

just like to check on a few of the ingrediants. Firstly the methyl-methoxyisoflavone, many sources suggest cycling it for 4weeks on 1 week off and same with the creatine and HMB., is the serving found in synergy high enough to warrant this? Also Iv heard ZMA shouldnt be taken with milk and it leads to faster breakdown, is this an issue in this product?

As far as the Methoxy, there isn\'t enough research to say you should or shouldn\'t \"cycle off\" it but there is no evidence of harm in using it long term so far. Creatine and HMB can be taken continuously because they and similar molecules have been in our diet since before humans walked upright and there is no evidence of negative side effects in either (despite the ill-informed reports of side effects from creatine).
There is no evidence that ZMA absorption or retention is affected by dairy products.

Hi I have been taking Synergy for about 3 weeks now before and after training with a usn protein in the mornings. Im now getting after taking synergy really bad stomach bloating lasting for quite a few hours. Im considering changing this product and sticking to a whey protein and a creatine supplement. Which products would you recommend thats offers less bloating to the stomach and offers lean mass.

The only ingredients that would be likely to cause bloating would be the fibres (Acacia Gum, Chicory, etc). Usually these are considered helpful for digestion but you may have a sensitivity to them. You may want to try a similar product by Maximuscle called Cyclone. Or, if you want the "leanest" option, go with Nitro-Tech (which contains creatine and other ingredients to build lean mass).

Hi, i take usn protein in the morning followed by phd synergy before and after training as recomended. What would be the best product to add to what im taking in order to gain lean mass quicker. Would another creatine product be ok like Cell Tech, Kre-Alkaln Pro or even Superpump 250 before training ? Thanks

2 servings of Synergy per day will result in just about full creatine loading of the muscle in about 4 weeks. If you want more dramatic recovery and muscle-building results, take Cell-Tech daily for 10 days - especially right after your post-workout Synergy shake. After 10 days, because you are taking the Synergy, you can drop the Cell-Tech on non-workout days. But if you are trying to gain maximum mass, you may want to continue taking it daily. A pre-workout product like SuperPump or NaNO Vapor is also an excellent idea, especially if you could use a little more energy for workouts and/or if you have trouble getting a good muscle pump.

Have a protein and complex carb meal or Synergy 1 1/2 to 2 hours before training. Then take the SuperPump 1/2 hr to 45 min pre-training. Then take a serving of Synergy right after training. On non-training days, take at least one serving of Synergy between meals, depending upon your goals (weight gain, lean gains, etc).

Can i take any more creatine while using this product 2x a day or would it be too much? I was thinking kre-alkalyn or usn creatine x4.

A.

An extra dose on training days may have a small additional effect but 2 servings of Synergy is enough creatine for most people.

Creatine has not been shown to affect growth (height wise) and there's no good reason to believe it is a problem to take it at your age but very little research has been done on people your age. Whoever told you it can have negative affects on your heart and organs is misinformed. There are now over 3000 scientific studies on creatine and most experts believe it has no negative side effects whatsoever. The Synergy is probably a good choice as (like you said) it is not high in creatine.

Are you sure you bought the Lipo 6x from us. I don't think we stock it??

If you gain weigh easily, you should stick to the Synergy and the NO xplode and only take the True Mass after training when it won't be stored as readily as fat. Everyone's cardio requirements are different, so start with 30 minutes 5-6 times per week and adjust it upward if you aren't losing fat. If you have been training hard for more than a year or two, it is difficult to gain muscle whilst losing fat. Generally, you have to gain the mass first and then cut the fat later to see good results.

Can't really improve much on that. The only possible change would be that if you are only using the MF Anabolic (which is a great product, don't get me wrong) as a post-workout product, you could switch to a purpose-designed post-workout product like Torrent or Anator P70.

Can't really improve much on that. The only possible change would be that if you are only using the MF Anabolic (which is a great product, don't get me wrong) as a post-workout product, you could switch to a purpose-designed post-workout product like Torrent or Anator P70.

Given that I have been taking a product that contains creatine etc, will there be a loading phase when I start taking Synergy or can I just stop taking Anabolic and start on Synergy with no particular adjustments? Synergy also contains creatine, so as long as you take it twice per day, you'll be fine for creatine. Be aware that Synergy has fewer carbs and calories, so you can expect slower mass gains but perhaps with less fat gains (depends upon your bodytype and goals which product is appropriate for you).
