BCAAs are fantastic as a rule. Unfortunately these didnt seem as effective as others Ive tried. They have great amounts of BCAAs per serving but the results never really came. I prefer caps such as the optimum nutrition ones as opposed to tabs.
What would you recommend buying Amino wise? The full spectrum animos or BCAA's.
Is there a rule of thumb here as to which is better suited for one's particular circumstances.
The body requires Essential Amino Acids (EAAs)to get the best results (recovery and muscle growth) from training. BCAAs are 3 of the 9 EAAs. The Non-Essential Amino Acids are not required in the diet or to maximize protein synthesis (the process of building muscle). The BCAA leucine is most important along with the other 2 BCAAs. So look for an EAA supplement with enhanced levels of the BCAAs (at least 1 gram [1000mg] of leucine and 500mg of both valine and isoleucine).
