Take 1-3 bars daily in between meals.
Taste and texture is good and I've not experienced any negative effects. I use this bar as a meal replacement and emergency snack, 1-2 bars/day 5 days/week. I have not tried the blueberry and cranberry flavour, but the raisin, hazelnut and chocolate flavour is great. At first taste is a little odd, but you very quickly get used to it. Not quite the taste of a chocolate bar, not sweet like a flapjack bar, more like oats and chocolate snack... Recommended.

Could you please tell me what milk protein isolate is and how it is different to whey protein isolate?

Milk Protein Isolate (also known as micellar casein) is simply milk proteins carefully seperated from the lactose, water, fat and ash of milk.
Milk protein is part whey and part casein (and a small amount of several other protein componenets). Whey protein just further seperates these other proteins to leave the whey (which is the best protein for bodybuilders, etc).
