When in the day is the best time to take this ? I've read various articles and as usual there are mixed views ?
EFAs can be taken any time of day. It doesn't matter when because they don't really have any immediate effect but have their effects gradually as you consistently take them. It is best to have them with meals, as if you have them on an empty stomach, you may metabolise more of them as fuel, which mean less gets stored in the cells where you want them.
