Description
Each serving supplies a full 5 grams (5000 mg) of 99.9% pure Micronised Creatine Monohydrate. The production method used to produce this Creatine yields a tasteless, odorless powder that mixes easily into water or juice and does not readily settle to the bottom. As a result, the gritty taste or texture you may have experienced with other Creatine powders is not associated with this product.

"A huge amount for the price – mixes well into a small glass of water with no crunchy grit at the end. "

Q&A
Q Can i mix this with the premium 100% whey protein powder and how much of creatine should i take?
A

Yeah sure, around 5-10g daily would be sufficient to top up creatine levels to full intra-muscular saturation.

Q does this/ all tubs of creatine monohydrate come supplied with a scoop or do u have to measure out the dosage yourself
A

Many creatine products have a scoop but others don't. As a rule of thumb, a slightly heaping teaspoon of creatine is about 5 grams.

Q Have you and idea when this creatine will be back in stock???
A

A

Should be less than a week unless our supplier has no stock of this item

Q what loading stage and maintainence stage would you advise takin? thanks TF!
A

loading phase :- 20g a day for the first 5 days split over 4 x 5g servings.. Day 5+ 10g per day in two dosages. Please refer to manufactures directions of use for full details.

Q can i take this product while using matrix anabolic protein?
A

If it dose not contain creatine then yes.

Q hi i am using USN muscle fuel mass with milk after workouts,, will this creatine be effective if i mixed it with muscle fuel mass and milk after my workout
A

Yes it will but we strongly suggest you try mixing with water post workout for quicker absorption.

Q Hi i have read that you would take this as a post workout, and i have always taken creatine pre workout due to the fact you would need the extra strength that creatine gives you. So what would be the advantage of having this creatine post workout?
A

Creatine is a supplement that you take daily and it gradually increases muscle levels until they are at capacity. Therefore, taking it before exercise won't give you any real improvement in performance because if you have loaded it, your levels are already at their max. You can take it before or after training but most people take it after. Creatine is best taken with a big dose of carbs and some protein and/or amino acids and this may not be a good idea for most people just before training.

Q hi i was working out for past 2 years and im making good gains but im wondering if i used this stuff and then got off it would i ever be able to build any muscle without it? thanks
A

Yes you can build muscle without it but fortunately, it is no longer necessary to cycle off creatine because of its demonstated excellent safety record having been used by millions of people over the last 20 years and having had numerous safety reviews and scientific studies. You can make gains without creatine but they will just come more slowly.

Q hi previously i bought nutrisport creatine and didnt seem to impressed by it and was wondering if this one is better and do you load this product? thanks a,lot.
A

The only difference between the two products is that the Optimum one is likely of greater purity and possibly less corse (grainy). The problem likely lies in the way you take your creatine. If you take it with shakes and meals that have a large amount of "fast" or "simple" carbohydrates (over 70 grams), you will retain more creatine in the muscle. This has been shown to work in research on people who didn't respond to taking creatine alone. Another thing to take it with is lipoic acid. For best results try using Cell-Tech or Cre-X12, as these have both large amounts of creatine and carbs and insulin driver ingredients.

Q Hi when is this coming back in stock? as its been a while since it hasent been in stock. Thanks
A

This product is out of stock due to the manufacture also being out of stock. You may want to try another quality micronized creatine product. The following products contain "Creapure" brand creatine (Creapure is the biggest and best manufacturer of creatine in the world)... Reflex Creapure Creatine monohydrate Sport Pharma Just Creatine Tropicana Creatine monohydrate

Q Hi, How many servings (5 g) of "Optimum Nutrition Creatine Powder" a day should I take? And when? Please advise,
A

Loading phase – Take 20g (4 x 5g servings) for the first 5 days. Maintenance – Take 10g (2 x 5g servings) everyday onwards. Non-training days take one serving AM and one serving PM Training days take one serving one hour prior to training and one serving immediately post-workout. Creatine can be added into any liquid mixture.

Q i recently purchased this product and i was wondering if you could tell me about the purity, since supplements aren't regulated? thanks
A

Not sure who told you supplements aren't regulated??? It's a full time job to even try to keep abreast of all of the rules, guidelines and laws that come from the UK government and the European Union on supplements! In the case of an American company like Optimum, their production facilities must be visited regularily and very tight controls exist. There is also the DSHEA guidelines, etc, etc, etc. Anyhow, this product contains "Creapure" brand creatine monohydrate, which is the purest form of creatine available and you can be sure that it is pure and safe.

Q Is it okay to mix this into the same mixture as the whey protein?
A

Yes. Completely fine.

Q Is this product OK to mix with a protein powder for a post workout drink?
A

YES

Q just noticed on the packaging it says 3g creatine per serving yet advertised as 5g per serving. used to always be 5g. is 3 the new 5? :-)
A

Hi Fraser, this is an unfortunate European Union (EFSA) screw up (they don't do a very good job with supplement science). Despite the vast majority of the creatine monohydrate research being on the effectiveness of 5 grams daily, the EU set the level of intake at 3 grams when making the claim that creatine increases performance in repeated bouts of intense exercise. So you are best off ignoring it and going either with 5 grams per day (takes up to 30 days to load or saturate the muscles this way) or do a loading phase (5 grams, 4 times daily for the first 4 days) and then 5 grams per day thereafter to maintain saturation.

Q Hi there. I would just like to know how the ON Micronised Creatine is sourced. Is it free from any animal-derived ingredients? Thank you so much.
A

Creatine monohydrate is not sourced from animals. It is produced by a synthetic process and the Optimum creatine is 99.9% pure.
