Description
Oats and Whey are fundamental elements of an athlete's diet. Naturally low in sugar, Oats supply slow-burning complex carbohydrates and hunger-filling dietary fibre. Whey proteins are readily digested and provide considerable amounts of essential amino acids (EAAs) - especially the three branched chain amino acids (BCAAs). Optimum Nutrition’s Natural 100% Oats & Whey combines the benefits of these nutritional powerhouses in a smooth, drinkable shake that's quick to prepare and equally easy to clean up after.

Each serving of Optimum Nutrition Natural Oats and Whey packs in 24 grams of all-whey protein and as much fibre as a big bowl of oatmeal. Better yet, it tastes great, and it goes down easy. As the name suggests, Natural 100% Oats & Whey is free of artificial flavours, sweeteners, and synthetic colours. So naturally, it's great for breakfast, after workouts, and any time that you're looking for an on-the-go meal.

Directions
Natural 100% Oats & Whey is INSTANTISED, so it always mixes up easily. Simply add 1 heaped scoop of Natural 100% Oats & Whey to a blender, shaker or glass filled with 180-240ml (6-8oz) of cold water or milk. Then blend, shake or stir for 20-30 seconds or until powder is dissolved.

Tips: For a thicker, more strongly flavoured shake, use a little less water or milk; for a thinner consistency, try adding more liquid.

For the richest, creamiest shake, an electric blender is always best. To prepare, add 1 heaped scoop of Natural 100% Oats & Whey to a blender filled with 180-240ml (6-8oz) of cold water or milk and 3-5 ice cubes. Cover and blend on highest speed for 30-45 seconds.

Try adding natural peanut butter, fresh or frozen fruit (e.g. berries, bananas and peaches), flaxseed oil, slivered almonds, shredded coconut, cinnamon etc. to blend up an even more nutritious and delicious meal.

"Really like this stuff. Great taste which isn't too heavy and is particularly good with milk. Also low in fat. Superior product to others I have tried."

"This blends really well, like James above says no bits and tastes so nice! Low calorie even with the carbs in and easy to mix with the suggested Blender Bottle, have been taking it to work for lunch to avoid the cafe sandwiches and chocolate!"

Q&A
Q can i have this instead of meals during the days or is its just instead of snacks?
A

Either but we strongly recommend you do not purposely take this in place of solid food meals.

Q Can the Optimum Nutrition Oats and Whey help with weight loss? And if so how should it be used? Thanks. BR, Alan
A

This will greatly depend upon certain factors, such as how much weight you are looking to lose, how balanced the rest of your diet is, and the type/regularity of the physical activity you are doing. Natural Whey & Oats is not substantial enough to be used as a meal replacement, as it doesn't contain enough important vitamins and minerals; the main purpose of said supplement is to supply quality proteins and slow-release carbohydrates, inbetween meals. Owing to the carbohydrate content of this product, weight loss may be hindered. If you are looking for a product more tailored to aiding fat loss, you may wish to try PhD Nutrition Diet Whey 2kg, £39.99 instead, or SuperLife Super Protein 454g, £15.99. Both can be used inbetween meals to boost protein intake, whilst containing low levels of carbohydrates. The former also contains green tea extract and flaxseed, which aid fat loss. I hope the above information assists with your query.
