Carnivor is composed of Bioengineered Beef Protein Isolate, which is 350% more concentrated than steak - and more concentrated than whey isolate! With zero fat, cholesterol or sugar, you need to beef up with Carnivor – the world's first beef protein isolate!

It has long been known that bodybuilders and strength athletes consume high amounts of beef to help build muscle and increase strength. The muscle building power of beef cannot be disputed. Ask any bodybuilder and they will tell you that they make their biggest muscle gains and feel their strongest when they eat beef. Now, thanks to the development of an advanced bioengineered beef protein, MuscleMeds has formulated the most sought after muscle building protein ever created. Carnivor is unlike any other protein in existence.

The world's first all beef protein isolate is more concentrated than whey
Using new advanced extraction, clarification, hydrolysis and isolation technologies Carnivor's Beef Protein Isolate delivers the muscle-building power of beef with higher amino acid levels than all other protein sources used in supplements including: whey, soy, milk and egg. Carnivor Beef Protein Isolate is even 350% more concentrated in anabolic muscle-building aminos than a prime sirloin steak!

Anabolic Nitrogen Retention Technology (ARNT) recycles aminos and minimizes ammonia
ANRT is a major muscle-building breakthrough in protein supplementation. While protein is critical for muscle growth, paradoxically, protein can sometimes actually decrease performance and muscle growth if nitrogenous waste products like ammonia are not recycled back into anabolic tissue-building pathways or otherwise neutralized. ANRT is specially designed to allow the recycling of aminos back toward the muscle building pathway and prevent the build-up of debilitating toxic scavengers such as ammonia. ANRT nitrogen retention factors contained in Carnivor include: GKG (glutamine-alpha-ketoglutarate), OKG (ornithine-alpha-ketoglutarate), AKG (alpha-ketoglutarate) and KIC (alpha-ketoisocaproate).

20-times the creatine content of steak
One of the attributes of eating beef is its naturally high creatine content. Beef is one of the best natural sources of creatine. To push the anabolic activation and cell volumizing effects of creatine even greater, each serving of Carnivor supplies 20 times more creatine than whole beef food sources to saturate your muscles for explosive strength and growth.

Added BCAA for increased anabolic and anti-catabolic effects
To further boost the anabolic, muscle-building action of Carnivor, additional Branch Chain Amino Acids are added to the purified Beef Protein Isolate. The enhanced BCAA levels promote a positive nitrogen balance, increase protein synthesis, decrease catabolism, improve workout performance and reduce muscle fatigue.

Throughout history, the ravenous appetite that "men of muscle" have for top quality beef has become as legendary as their super-human feats. Ancient warriors, Greek Olympic athletes, strongmen like Sandow and even Roman gladiators craved and consumed pounds of beef per day to build muscle to boost their combat prowess. Now, in modern times this muscle-building nutrition carries on in the bodybuilding world with Carnivor!

"The best protein on the market at an excellent price. Five stars for taste, mixability and texture."

"As a lifetime milk and egg allergy sufferer, it has been a joy finally being able to use a quality and tasty protein powder that won't have me reaching for my epipen. The Strawberry flavour is my favourite, though Chocolate isn't bad either. The other flavours I have tried are Fruit Punch, Chocolate Mint, Blue Raspberry and Vanilla Caramel. They tasted okay but tended to be over frothy. Strawberry and Chocolate don't seem to froth much and taste the best. If like me, you are planning to try Carnivor because you can't use dairy products and soya protein is getting boring, please be aware that the ingredients change occasionally to include milk-fat (to reduce frothiness, perhaps); this site's ingredients lists do seem to keep up-to-date and reflect the actual ingredients of the tub you will receive.

As for muscle-building... well, don't expect miracles – it's just a handy source of protein and no more, but that's all any protein powder is. "

"I have just finished my first tub. They only had Cherry Vanilla in stock so I had to go with that. The taste was absolutely atrocious, towards the end I was heaving when drinking it and dreaded it. Results have been very good though, Improved strength due to the creatine and has improved stamina a little. Size wise there's not much difference but it's a product i'll now use reguarly, just not the Cherry Vanilla flavour!!"

"One of the best on the market. I had no digestive issues (apart from the blue raspberry turning things green) an all round complete post workout suppliment."

"This protein is THE best I have ever tried, I have had no problems what so ever like ive had with whey and casein. Unbeleivable gains in a short amount of time but the only nice flavour is chocolate, I highly recommend to anybody serious about bodybuilding or just need protein that isnt whey, whey sucks"

Q Alright mate if i bought this product how many servings would i have daily? how many grams of protein does 1 serving contain?

As with any protein, you will need to take more if you train hard and often, are a large person, have a low-protein or low-calorie diet, etc. So the answer is "it depends". Most guys use 2 to 4 servings per day and many guys double up (use two scoops instead of one per serving). It has 23 grams of protein per serving.

Q Any plans to sell any more of the Musclemeds range of products?

We can't carry most of them due to the restrictive supplement regulations, which have become even tighter due to the European Union.

Q hey guys i was just wondering why is it banned in uk?

It's not, we sell it.

Q hi dose this contain the exact same ingredients as the MM CARNIVORE sold in america thanks

Q Hi guys, I train 5 days a week and really want to step it up and make some better gains, is this the product for me? at the moment i'm just on mutant mass but feel i need a change, how many grams of protein does this product have in 1 serving?

For maximum mass gains (especially if you have a fast metabolism, are quite active, don't eat well or have trouble gaining muscle and weight), stick with Mutant Mass. For better and faster gains, add a creatine product to this or switch to another quality weight gainer like Mass-Tech or Muscle Fuel Anabolic that both contain creatine. Carnivore is a cutting-edge protein product but if you switch to it from Mutant Mass and don't increase your calories, you'll lose mass and probably muscle.

Q hi im thinking of getting this protein, im currently using synergy iso 7 which i really like would it be ok too use both ie carnivor pre workout and synergy postwork or vise versa

absolutely fine to use both

Q hi ya im looking on buying this product but the thing is ive got high ck levels (creatine kinase) but if i buy this will the creatine in the protein product increase my ck levels im looking for a protein with no fat no sugar or cherstral

High CK levels are common in bodybuilders and athletes for two reasons: 1) we use creatine and 2) we train hard. Both are known to increase CK. The best thing to do is to take a week off training and creatine before your next liver enzyme test and you may find that your CK returns to normal. If not take a month of creatine (to bring levels back to baseline) and a week off training before the next test. If CK is still high, then you may have a legitimate liver problem, which you need to discuss with your doctor (as I'm not qualified to diagnose disease).

Q Hi, how does this protein compare to something like Nitrotech? Which one is the better one?

Nitro-Tech is the best-researched muscle-building protein product available and has been for years. However, Carnivor sounds quite good but we just got it in and haven't had a chance to try it or get any feedback from customers. We hear it is doing well in the USA and it does have a quality formulation, so we think it would deserve a try.

Q Hi, I am thinking of buying this protein but have a couple of questions. 1) would this be suitable to take as your main protein powder? 2) Due to the 2.5g of creatine per serving would you advise not to stack it with other creatine products such as cell-tech or creatine caps?

Yes, no problem using it as your main/only protein supplement. You can definitely stack it with other creatine products (Cell-Tech for max mass gains and tablets for lean gains). This could give you slightly more creatine than required but the excess would just be eliminated in the urine by the kidneys (there is now little doubt about the safety of creatine and taking a little extra has no ill effects).

Q Hi, you know how many grams of creatine there are in a carnivors's scoop (30gr)???and the amino acids wich have this product are sufficient for a post work wout??or I must add some bcaa caps?? thanks

This product has 2.5 grams of creatine per serving and contains added Branched Chain Aminos. Beef is a complete protein and this product is hydrolysed (broken down for easier, faster digestion and absorption), so it should be adequate for post workout - although adding additiona essential or branched chain aminos is always helpful for recovery.

Q how good is this compare to other proteins it seems pretty expensive

It is beef protein without the fat and with added creatine, "keto" acids (these are amino acids without their nitrogen component and they help to mop up excess urea and then are used to build muscle). It is a bit expensive but it is a totally new innovation, so this is to be expected.

Q how many grams protein per serving do you mix with water

23 grams of protein per serving and can be mixed with water or milk (obviously milk adds 120 calories, 12g carbs, 5g protein and 3g fat).

Q I am a bit concerned with the amount of food colouring in this product. Does food colouring have an adverse effect on your body?

The only confirmed negative effect of food colourings is that they cause mood alterations in some children. This is only for 4 or 5 types. Most food colours used in supplements in the UK are from natural sources and if anything they are probably good for you because of the natural antioxidants present.

Q Is enoxide banned in the uk?

Q Is this lactose free as its made from beef?

Q Is this product ideal for muscle building?

That's what it's designed for. It has a unique protein source and other added unique ingredients and should give very good results.

Q Is this the perfect post workout supplement because of its high protein and creatine content?

It will be very good but as with any post-workout supplement, you should add a big whack of carbs!

Q you stock musclemeds carnivor, how long will it be before you stock the rest of the products available by musclemeds ?

The other MuscleMeds products contain banned ingredients for the UK market.

Q Can I take this with extreme nutrition build and recover?

You could do, though the MuscleMeds Carnivor would serve more as an additional protein supplement in the morning and/or between meals. I would not advocate mixing the two together - more because of consistency/palatability than anything else.

Q Hi i was wondering could this product be used in the morning as a fast release protein like whey as i take optimum nutrition whey first thing in morning to stop my body from going into catabolic state or is it slower like casein and soy?

Hydrolyzed Beef protein is partially digested and is absorbed at a quicker rate than most proteins but may not be as quick as whey. So yes this product can be used as a morning protein shake.

Q Hi there, any idea when this will be back in stock? Many thanks.

Week are predicting 1-2 weeks for delivery.

Q Hi there, I have been looking into trying to find dairy and gluten free protein shakes and was wondering if this contained any dairy or gluten?

This product dose contain dairy.

Q Hi there, which flavour has had the best feedback? Does it taste similar to whey shakes or is it quite different? Many thanks.

Chocolate seems to be very popular but it is very hard to compare to other whey proteins as every company uses different flavouring systems. This is one of the best isolates on the market.

Q Hi, how much creatine would be in a serving? (grams) and would it still be a good idea to add a couple of bcaa's tabs pre work/ post work with this protein shake? Regards David

Carnivore has an undisclosed amount of creatine but it is probably about 2-3 grams per serving. This is an effective dosage if you use the product at least twice per day. Yes, there is never harm in adding in BCAAs pre and post workout.

Q How many servings a day do u have?

1-3 depending on your protein requirements.

Q how much creatine does this contains?

2.5 grams per serving (so you'd need to take 2 servings daily on most days)

Q This is probably a stupid question but this product isnt suitable for vegetarians right?

It's made from beef protein

Q when i have tried whey proteins in the past they have all given me indigestion and made me feel sick. will this product make me feel like this and are there any other protein powders you would recommend?

An Isolate like carnivore will probably suite you best if you have a sensitive stomach.

Q With the CHOCOLATE flavour can you mix it with milk seeing as its chocolate? or do you just mix it with only water?

You can mix it with milk (I have personally tried the Chocolate flavour mixed with water and it was palatable). Please bear in mind that this will alter the nutritional profile slightly.

Q would it be ok if i added 2 scoop before work out and 1 scoop after work out? & 7.5g of creatine enough for 1 day or is it too much?

Depending upon who you ask and what your goals are, creatine should be taken at from 3 to 10 grams per day. So 7.5 grams is fine. As long as the Carnivore doesn't cause any digestive issues using such a large dose before training, that's not a problem.

Q is this wheat and gluten free

It contains maltodextrin, which may have small amounts of traces of wheat and gluten and it doesn't claim to be wheat or gluten free So if you are actually allergic to wheat or gluten (ciliac) then we can't recommend it. If you are just trying to avoid it or think you have a sensitivity to it, then the amounts in this product are so low that they are unlikely to make any difference to your diet, health or results from the gym.

Q Is there an age restriction on this? if so what age?

We wouldn't recommend any supplements to under 18's.
